Woman Involved in Accident Faces List of Charges Related to Drunk Driving

At 10:40 pm last evening RNC responded to a single vehicle accident on Topsail Rd in CBS.

When officers arrived they discovered that the female driver had consumed alcohol. An Approved Screening Device was used to which the driver failed.

The 20 year old female was arrested and taken to RNC headquarters for further testing.

While at the police station she refused to provide an adequate sample and was subsequently charged with refusing to provide a sample of her breath. As well, she was charged with impaired driving and her license was suspended.

Her vehicle was seized and she was released for court at a later date.
