Gay & Bisexual Men Can Donate Blood Withing 3 Months of Same-Sex Intercourse

Gay and bisexual men can now donate blood if they have not have had sex with another man for three months.

Previously, men had to abstain from sex with another man for a year.

The announcement was made by Health Minister Ginette Petitpas Taylor.

As long as men do not have intercourse with another man withing three months they can not donate blood.
