Liberal Party Leads in Latest Poll #nlpoli

If a provincial election were held today, it would be a Liberal majority.

In a survey conducted by MQO Research, the Liberal Party enjoys 48 percent support.

The PC is trailing at 36 percent.

Support for the NDP is at 11 percent and the NL Alliance is at 2 percent.

There is a troubling number, however, 39 percent are either undecided or don’t intend to vote.

Each party leader is polling in line with their party numbers. Among decided respondents:

  • Premier Dwight Ball was the top choice of 47% of voters.

  • PC Leader Ches Crosbie has the support of 37%.

  • 12% indicated Alison Coffin was their preferred choice for Premier.

  • NL Alliance leader Graydon Pelley was the top choice among 4% of voters.
