Saskatchewan Court Rules Carbon Tax Not Unconstitutional


The carbon tax has been ruled not unconstitutional in Saskatchewan.

A majority of justices on the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal ruled Friday that, "The Greenhouse Gas Pollution Pricing Act is not unconstitutional either in whole or in part."

Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe has been against the carbon tax.

Environment Minister Catherine McKenna said, "today's decision is a win for Canadians and for future generations."
