Well-Known Carbonear Barber Passes Away

Peter Sampson of Harbour Grace has died. He was 70.

He died Sunday in hospital.

For forty years he operated a barber shop on Water Street in Carbonear, nearly opposite the post office.

He was a staple in downtown area until he closed his shop in 2017.

His barber shop was filled with old artifacts and collectibles.

He is resting at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harbour Grace.

Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, April 30 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
