RCMP Investigating Break and Enter in St. Anthony

On October 15, St. Anthony RCMP received a report of a break and enter at a residence in St. Anthony.

A woman found a man in her front porch, going through the clothing in her closet. When he saw the woman, he fled the scene.

The investigation identified 43-year-old Scott Saunders, who lives in the St. Anthony area, as the suspect. He was located and arrested without incident. Mr. Saunders has been charged with break and enter into a residence, being unlawfully in a dwelling and trepassing at night. The man was in court Tuesday and remains in custody for a subsequent court appearance on October 18, 2018.

St. Anthony RCMP are asking the public to contact them at 709-454-3543 if they noticed anyone or anything around the area of Cabot Crescent on the morning of October 15th.
