NLC Announces Hours of Operation for Cannabis Sales

Newfoundland Labrador Liquor Corporation announced on Friday that the hours of operation for cannabis retail in the Province will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 am, 7 days a week.

The hours are consistent with those applied to domestic beer sales through the Brewers’ Agent network of stores throughout the Province.

Cannabis NL, a division of NLC, has conditionally approved more than 20 locations that following final inspections and approvals will be open as Licensed Cannabis Retailers on October 17th. Now, with the hours of operation finalized, some retailers may choose to open on midnight, October 17th, but they will be bound by regulations to close by 2:00 am.

These locations will open for a full business day at 9:00 am on the 17th, and each retailer can set their own hours as long as they fall within the 9am to 2am timeframe.
