One Year House Arrest for $110 Million Fraud Case

Hubert Hunt, the general manager of Hickman Equipment was sentenced to one year house arrest for fraud over $110 million dollars.

The case dates back to 2002 when Hickman Equipment applied for bankruptcy. An investigation in 2012 showed that Hunt, along with Vice President William Parsons, CFO Gary Hillyard, and Sales Manager John King allegedly committed fraud, conspiracy to commit fraud, falsifying books or documents, and defrauding creditors.

Court documents indicate that Hunt used a credit program, misleading John Deere Ltd. into providing cash loans with very favorable returns.
