Plane Crash Near Lower Island Cove

There was a small plane crash near Lower Island Cove on Monday morning.

Just before noon on Labour Day a plane crashed in a wooded area near Lower Island Cove in Conception Bay.

There was just one occupant, the 63-year-old pilot, who walked away from scene unharmed. The pilot is from Paradise.

An investigation is ongoing.
