Impaired Woman Puts Vehicle off Highway and Threatens Police

On August 28, 2018, at approximately 11:40 p.m., Whitbourne RCMP received a complaint of a single vehicle crash on the Trans Canada Highway, just east of Whitbourne.

Police attended the scene and found a vehicle in the median. A 35-year-old woman was arrested for impaired operation.

Breath samples were obtained nearly twice the legal limit and while in custody, the woman threatened to harm police.

She now faces charges of impaired operation, impaired operation over 80 mgs% and uttering threats and is set to attend court on October 31, 2018.
