Man Arrested After Threat to Western Memorial Regional Hospital

The RNC in Corner Brook have arrested and charged a male in relation to a threats investigation at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

On Thursday, at approximately 8:30 am officers responded to a complaint regarding a potential threat toward staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital.

At approximately 10:00 am officers arrested a 41 year old male resident of Corner Brook.

As a result of the investigation, the male subject has been charged with one count of Uttering Threats to Cause Bodily Harm and one count of Uttering Threats to Cause Property Damage.

The accused is being held in custody to appear in Provincial Court.
