RNC Request Assistance in Motorcycle Collision Investigation

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the public’s assistance in a two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle in Conception Bay South.

On July 19, 2018, at approximately 8:15 p.m., members of the RNC’s Operational Patrol Services Division, and Forensic Identification Services along with fire fighters from CBS Fire Department and paramedics from Hickey’s Ambulance responded to a two vehicle collision at the intersection of Conception Bay Highway and Lions Housing Road. A pickup truck and motorcycle collided with one another at the intersection and the driver of the motorcycle, a 22 year old CBS man, sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital at this time.

Accident investigators with RNC Traffic Services are seeking witnesses to the collision. Anyone with dash cam video between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Conception Bay Highway near Lions Housing Road is asked to call the RNC at 729-8000 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
