VP Pence Announces Proposal to Create U.S. Space Force

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence announced a proposal to create new military service, the U.S. Space Force.

Pence said that new force will "prepare for the next battlefield."

To create a new branch of the military, it must be approved by Congress.

If approve it would be the sixth, separate military service, and be operational by 2020.

President Trump said on Twitter, "Space Force all the way!"
