RNC Request Assistance in Collision Investigation
The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is seeking the public’s assistance around the circumstances of a single vehicle collision in Goulds.
On August 6, 2018, at approximately 3:30 a.m., members of the RNC’s Operational Patrol Services Division along with fire fighters from Goulds Volunteer Fire Department and paramedics from Eastern Health responded to a single vehicle collision on Main Rd in Goulds near The Hayloft Lounge. One of the occupants of the vehicle sustained serious injuries and remains in hospital at this time. Accident investigators with RNC Traffic Services and officers from Forensic Identification Services attended the scene. The vehicle involved is a 4 door gray Honda Civic.
Accident investigators are seeking witnesses to the collision. Anyone with CCTV footage or dash cam video between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Main Rd in Goulds between the Southern Shore Highway and The Hayloft Lounge is asked to contact investigators.
