New Appointments to Board of Directors of NL Hydro

The Provincial Government announced appointments to the board of directors of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro. The appointments were based on a list of recommendations provided by the Independent Appointments Commission.

New members include Brendan Paddick, Brian Walsh, David Oake, Fraser Edison, John Mallam and William (Bill) Nippard. Remaining on the board are John Green, QC (chair), Donna Brewer, Chris Loomis and Stan Marshall.

Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro is a provincial Crown corporation established under the Hydro Corporation Act, 2007. The company’s business includes the development, generation, transmission and sale of electricity.
