Police Increase Patrols Near CN Tower After Potential Risk to Public Safety


The area around the CN Tower will be seeing a larger police presence. Toronto Police are encouraging the public to continue to visit the area as per normal.

Police swarmed the area on Thursday after what is described as a "potential risk to public safety," but police will not say what the threat is.

Acting Superintendent Mike Barsky said the the site will be open to the public.

York Regional Police have also increased patrols at Canada's Wonderland.
