Train Derails Along Manitoba-Saskatchewan Border


Two people were injured after a Via Rail passenger train derailed along the Manitoba-Saskatchewan border.

CN employees along with RCMP, fire, and ambulances attended the train derailment 37 kilometres north of Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan.

All passengers and crew have since been released from hospital.

The track was washed out and the TSB said that two locomotives and a baggage car came off the tracks.
