Trudeau Spends Canada Day With Steel Workers & in Yukon


Prime Minister Justin Trudeau did not spend Canada Day in Ottawa but made three stops across Canada.

In Leamington, Ontario, the Prime Minister participated in a community event hosted by Highbury Canco Corporation to celebrate Canada Day.

From there it was to Regina, Saskatchewan where the Prime Minister celebrated Canada Day with Canadian steel workers at EVRAZ Park and Pool.

The Prime Minister ended the day in Dawson City, Yukon at a Canada Day community barbeque.

July 1st also marked the day that Canada imposed $16.6 billion worth of retaliatory tariffs on U.S. products.
