Sudden Death at Penitentiary

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is investigating a sudden death of an inmate at Her Majesty’s Penitentiary on Saturday.

At the time of the death the inmate was alone in his cell.

There will also be an independent investigation after RNC complete their investigation.

The Department of Justice and Public Safety has expressed condolences to the family.
