NAPE Says Over-Crowding an Issue at Labrador Correctional Centre

NAPE says that there is an issue with over-crowding at the correctional centre in Happy Valley-Goose Bay.

The facility was built to house just over 30 inmates. That number has ballooned to over 50.

The union says that concerns are being raised about over-crowding by correctional officers.

Premier Dwight Ball says that government is working on solutions.
