Sighting of a Black Bear in Pasadena, NL


Pasadena, NL on the West Coast of NL has issued a warning after a recent sighting of a black bear around the community.

Residence are reminded that they should remove any food or garbage that can attract animals. Please be reminded that feeding wild animals can be dangerous. Sightings like these are common for this time of the year.

What to do if you encounter a black bear?

- Remain Calm

- Back away slowly (Do Not Run)

- Avoid eye contact.
