New Long Term Care Centres for Grand Falls - Windsor and Gander

The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador has decided to build two new long term care centres. The Locations for these centres will be Grand Falls - Windsor and Gander, NL both located in Central Newfoundland.

These new facilities will include 60 beds.

The location for Grand Falls - Windsor is Scott Avenue which is near the former paper mill location.

The location for Gander is next to the Collage of the North Atlantic.

There was a request issued in January looking for private business interested in designing, financing, maintaining, and designing the new homes. This is a similar set up to the new Long Term Care facility currently under construction in Corner Brook, NL and the New Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
