Botwood's Health Care getting improvements

The town of Botwood is going to see improvements to health care services in the community. This is following an announcement that was made by the government of Newfoundland and Labrador yesterday.

There has been a contact for a 20 bed protective care unit that will be an extension of the Dr. Huge Twomey Health Centre. This was awarded to Fougere Menchenton Aarchitecture inc.

Part of this movement the community will be adding mental health services, this will allow them to become the first community to offer this through the Telehealth system.
