Loud Boom Reported in St. John's

A host of agencies are investigating what several people describe as a loud rumble this afternoon. Places from Mount Pearl to Downtown St. John's reported the rumble. It happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. There is no word on what it was. The shaking was also detected by seismograph readings.
