Canada Responds to U.S. Tariffs

The United States has slapped tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminum on Thursday. U.S.
Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross announced tariffs of 25% on imported steel and 10% on aluminum.
Canada was quick to respond with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland announcing dollar-for-dollar tariff countermeasures.
The tariffs apply to steel, aluminum, and maple syrup.
