Gaza and Israel Agree to Ceasefire

Officials in Gaza say that at ceasefire with Israel will come in effect.

The ongoing dispute is significant to what was seen in the 2014 war.

Groups in Gaza will commit to the ceasefire as long as Israel does.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Israel gave Palestinian militant groups in Gaza "the strongest blow dealt to them in years," and warned against renewed rocket fire.

On 30 March 2018, a six-week campaign composed of a series of protests was launched at the Gaza Strip, near the Gaza-Israel border.
