Ireland Votes to Repeal Ban on Abortion

The people of Ireland have voted overwhelmingly to repeal a ban on abortion.

In the referendum 66 per cent of those who cast valid ballots voted to repeal the ban.

This will mark the first time that woman will legally be able to get abortions in the historically Catholic country.
