Dog Shot In Trout River Newfoundland SPCA Raise Money

Newfoundland West SPCA is going to the public to help with the vet cost for a dog that was shot in Trout River, NL. The RCMP in Rocky Harbour are still investigating after someone shot two dogs killing one and injuring another earlier in the week.

SPCA in Corner Brook says the dog that was injured suffered two bullet wounds to their front legs.

On a post on Facrbook.com the SPCA says the dog known as Meathead will be requiring amputations because of the extent of the injury to his leg. The SPCA are needing public support for the surgery that can be quite costly.

The members of the public are able to make donations to the Humber Valley Veterinary Clinic or through the NL West SPCA directly.

Anyone that may have any information about this are asked to contact Crime Stoppers or the RCMP.
