Police Recover Stolen Artwork

On Friday the RNC’s General Investigative Unit recovered 14 pieces of the stolen art work which has since been returned to the owner.

This recovery was as a direct result of the media release made on Thursday afternoon and police wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance.

At least 12 other paintings are still missing and the investigation is ongoing.

The RNC is reminding the public that possession of stolen property is a criminal offence.

All six of the paintings that were previously released in photos have been recovered and are included in the 14.

There was also a soapstone statue recovered that was stolen from that same home.
