Rogers, Telus and Bell Sell Your Location

The three big telecom companies in Canada, Rogers, Telus and Bell, created a joint venture that allows them to sell your location to third parties.

EnStream retrieves mobile location based on the same cell-site triangulation.

It was developed in 2005 as a way for subscribers to make purchases using their phone.

The companies maintain that users must have your consent to do so.
