Trump to Meet With Kim Jong-un on June 12

U.S. President Donald Trump will meet with Kim Jong-un on June 12 in Singapore.

Trump made the announcement via Twitter on Thursday.

The two leaders are expected to discuss North Korea's nuclear weapons program.

This will mark the first time that a sitting U.S. President met with the leader of North Korea.

Just hours prior to the announcement, North Korea released three American prisoners.
