Vladimir Putin Sworn in for Fourth Term

Vladimir Putin has been sworn in as the president of Russia for his fourth term.

He will serve as president for the next six years. Then he will be unable to run again until 2024.

Putin won the 2018 presidential election with more than 76% of the vote.

Putin promised that over the course of his term, his country would prove a strong, muscular player on the world stage, backed by a powerful military, and will push hard to improve life for citizens.

Dmitry Medvedev will most likely serve as prime minister.
