RNC Requesting Assistance in Break and Enter Investigations


The RNC in Corner Brook are look for assistance of the public in providing information regarding three break and enters into local schools.

On Sunday, April 29 at approximately 12:20 pm officers responded to a report of a break and enter on St. John’s Avenue at East Side Elementary. Upon police arrival it was determined that forced entry had occurred. This break and enter is believed to have occurred on Saturday, April 28 at approximately 7:00 pm.

On Monday, April 30 at approximately 7:00 am officers responded to a report of a break and enter on Mount Bernard Avenue at Corner Brook Intermediate Junior High School. Upon police arrival it was determined that forced entry had occurred. This break and enter is believed to have occurred on Sunday, April 29 at approximately 10:20 pm.

As well on Monday, April 30 at approximately 8:20 am officers responded to another report of a break and enter on Citadel Drive at C.C. Loughlin Elementary school. Upon police arrival, it was determined that forced entry had occurred. This break and enter is believed to have occurred on Monday, April 30 at approximately 12:00 am.

Through the course of the investigation, the RNC has obtained photographs of suspects in these investigations. The RNC is currently looking to identify and speak with the suspects.
