Cain's Quest Kicks Off

Cain's Quest started on Friday.

At 3100 km, this race is the longest race of its kind in the world.

The race runs day and night guided by GPS and instinct to get teams from checkpoint to checkpoint.

Each team is equipped with a satellite tracking unit which enables people to watch the race in near real time from anywhere.

Teams travel through a variety of topography.
