RNC Seek Public Assistance in Robbery Investigation

Police are seeking the assistance of the public in a robbery investigation.

On Monday, February 19, at approximately 10:30 pm the RNC responded to a robbery at the intersection of Penneywell Road and Boncloddy Street in St. John’s.

The male victim, a 22-year-old resident of St. John’s, reported that he had been robbed by two males who were unknown to him.

An edged weapon was used during the robbery; however the victim was not injured. The suspects fled the area with a quantity of cash and some other possessions belonging to the victim.

The first suspect is approximately 22 years old, 5’11”, with red curly hair, a slim build and acne on his cheeks and below his eyes. This male was wearing a grey jacket with orange trim and a zipper on the hood. The second suspect is between 18 and 20 years old, 6’2” and had a slim build. He was wearing a grey and black jacket.

The RNC is seeking the assistance of the public in identifying these males.
