Patrick Brown sends notice of libel to CTV News

The former leader of the Ontario PC Party has sent a notice of libel to CTV News.

If you are suing a newspaper, radio or television station, you must usually give them notice of your intention to sue within six weeks of learning of the incident, and start your lawsuit within three months.

Brown is accusing CTV of 'false, malicious, irresponsible and defamatory' reporting. CTV however is standing by its reporting.
