Corner Brook Winter Carnival Ends Today


The Corner Brook Winter Carnival comes to an end today.

The ten day event kicked off on February 16th.

Today there will be A Carnival Brunch from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at All Hallows Parish Center, Humber Road. Cost $8.00 per person. Breakfast consists of bacon, bologna, eggs, pancakes, baked beans, toast, tea or coffee, and juice.

From 12 pm to 2 pm there will be Story Time and Crafts at the Arts & Culture Centre, University Drive. Free event but space is limited. Call 637-2582 to reserve your spot. Join us at the Arts & Culture Centre for Winter Carnival Themed crafts and stories. Hot chocolate and treats will be served. The event is for children ages 4 - 10. Parents/guardians must stay with children.

The Closing Ceremonies takes place from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the The Royal Canadian Legion, West Street. Cost Free. Come join the Winter Carnival Committee as they close Carnival 2018. Live music provided by Joe Russell. There will be a clown, face painting, cupcake corner, button prize draws, and coloring contest draw, snacks and more…come out and celebrate the closing of Corner Brook Winter Carnival 2018!

Finally at 7:00 pm there will be a Carnival Hymn Sing at the Salvation Army Temple, 177 O'Connell Drive. Cost Freewill Offering Received. Refreshments will be served following the service. All are welcome.
