Anne Norris Not Criminally Responsible in Murder Trial

Anne Norris has been found not criminally responsible in the death of Marcel Reardon.

The 12-person jury has decided that Norris is not criminally responsible.

She will be sent to the Waterford Hospital.

Norris had admitted to killing Reardon on May 9, 2016. She admitted to striking him repeatedly in the head with a hammer she had earlier purchased.

She put the hammer and her bloodstained jeans into a backpack and threw it in St. John's Harbour.
