Corner Brook Firefighters Ordered to Vacate Toy Drive Space

Corner Brook Firefighters that have been involved in an annual Toy Drive for over 40 years have received a notice to vacate.

They have been storing some 50,000 to 100,000 toys at the Corner Brook Civic Centre.

The City informed them via a letter on Friday that they will need to give up the space.

As a result they have nowhere to store the toys.

Former Mayor Charles Pender said on Twitter, "I have no words."
