Concerns Over Safety at West School After Student Accused of Assault

The Newfoundland and Labrador English School District are responding to concerns about a student at the west coast school who is accused of sexual assault.

The School District says it is aware of the situation.

Female students at the school have expressed concerns about their safety and security.

RCMP will not speak to specific allegations. The identity of the student is withheld under the youth criminal justice act.
