Appeal for Former Carbonear Mayor in March

The former Mayor of Carbonear was in court yesterday for an appeal hearing.

The hearing will take place March 8 and 9 in St. John’s.

Butt was removed from office by council after an anonymous letter was received by the town which stated that Butt, while still a councillor, made a motion to demolish a building near his business.
