Fire at Green Depot in Baie Verte

Both the RCMP and Firefighters were on the scene of a major fire in Baie Verte at the Green Depot yesterday.

Several homes were evacuated and the street from Shoppers Drug Mart to Canada Post was closed to traffic.

Heavy smoke was observed in the area.

There were no injuries.
