Driver Loses Control & Vehicle Goes Into St. John's Harbour

Shortly after midnight this morning a male driving his pick up on Harbour Drive in St. John's lost control of vehicle, slid through guardrail.

The vehicle then went over harbor apron and vehicle is now completely submerged in St. John’s Harbour.

The male operator had to kick the front window out of his truck to exit his vehicle.

Luckily, other than being very cold, no injuries were sustained.

Alcohol and drugs not a factor in this incident.

Roads were extremely slippery in area at the time of this incident.
