Activist Injured in Accident

An two-vehicle accident on the Southern Shore Highway near Cape Broyle yesterday morning has sent a well-known activist to hospital.

Executive Director of the St. John’s Status of Women’s Council, Jenny Wright, sustained two broken arm.

A vehicle ran into the back of a transport truck.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
