Book Tax Eliminated #nlpoli

The book tax is no more.

The provincial measure was put in place two years ago.

The same eligibility conditions that were in effect before the rebate was removed will once again apply.

In August 2017 Tom Osborne, Minister of Finance and President of Treasury Board, announced his intentions to write the Federal Government to reinstate the rebate. In December 2017, a resolution in the House of Assembly confirmed this change.
