RNC Investigating Fatal Motor Vehicle – Pedestrian Collision #nltraffic

Police are investigating a fatal motor vehicle collision in Goulds Friday morning involving a pedestrian.

Just before 3:30am, officers with RNC’s Operational Patrol Services Division along with Forensic Identification Officers and Accident Investigators responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 71 year old man from Goulds, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

While the circumstances surrounding this collision are under investigation, RNC can confirm that alcohol and drugs are not believed to be a factor.

The identity of the victim will not be released.
