Still Power Outages on the Avalon #nlwx #nltraffic

As of this morning there are still power outages on Bell Island and in Broad Cove and Blackhead.

Severe weather conditions caused overhead line damage.

Power should be restored by 9:00 am on Bell Island and 10:00 am in Broad Cove and Blackhead.

As the storm grew in intensity on Saturday Newfoundland Power was responding to multiple power outages across the Avalon.

The weather at times prevented emergency repairs from taking place.
