Highlights From St. John’s 2018 Budget

The City of St. John's brought down their budget this for this year and the good news is that there will be increase in any fees and no tax hikes.

The budget passed a vote last evening.

Not everyone voted in favor. Councillors Ian Froude, Maggie Burton, and Hope Jamieson voted against the budget.

The mill remains at 7.3. The business rate also remaining steady at 24.

The City received high revenue than expected from the Paul Reynolds Centre.
