RCMP in GFW Stop Driver Owing 17K in Fines #nltraffic

A man from Grand Falls-Windsor has found himself in a heap of trouble after he was stopped by police in the central Newfoundland town.

RCMP say that the driver had no licence. He was also suspended from driving, the vehicle was uninsured, and was also in a breach of his probation.

To top it all off he also owed $17,000 in outstanding fines.

Police impounded the vehicle.

The driver was scheduled to appear in Grand Falls-Windsor Provincial Court yesterday.
