University Bans Same Sex Relationships

Trinity Western University is a private Christian liberal arts university in Langley, British Columbia.

The university is now going to the Supreme Court of Canada over a rule at the school that states students must sign a document that bans sex outside of heterosexual marriage.

Although the school doesn't specifically ban LGBTQ students.

Trinity Western wants to start a law school, however they are having trouble receiving accreditation from the law societies of B.C. and Ontario

Lawyers argue that since the school is private, the Charter of Rights and Freedoms does not apply to them.
